HABITATIONAL SCULPTURES

This new line of utilitarian objects extends my sculptural practice into the domestic realm, merging formal inquiry with function through products such as table lamps, chandeliers, and light-emitting structures. Rooted in woodworking and often incorporating salvaged details from home interiors, these objects continue my exploration of dualism—where opposing forces such as heavy and light, concealed and exposed, sculptural and functional must coexist. Reclaimed wood and foundobjects carrie traces of prior use, embodying temporality, regeneration, and thetension between past and present. As functional artifacts, these works invite daily interaction, collapsing the distance between sculpture and lived experience.
